Marketing Manager
The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides a FREE, high-quality education to over 1800 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha.
We are seeking a creative, energetic individual to lead our Marketing Team based in Arusha, Tanzania at the School of St Jude. As the Marketing Manager you will be responsible for developing effective marketing strategies for the school including the website and online social networking sites; creating exceptional PR opportunities and nurturing relationships with supporters.
The Marketing Manager will have to work closely with other departments, so we are looking for a team player who is capable of multi-tasking, working under pressure and shows great initiative as well as leadership.
A minimum commitment of at least two years is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a marketing team (8 personnel)
Oversee the marketing and communication strategies for the school
Manage the production and mail out of the school's monthly newsletter
Manage special marketing projects such as the two public appeals, grant program, design, etc
Ensure the training and ongoing development of local staff members within the marketing team
Liaise with the Australian Coordinator regarding promotional tours, fundraising and speaking events in Australia
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
Degree in Marketing or relevant experience
Previous experience in a non-profit organisation
Experience managing a marketing team
Experience in fundraising campaigns
Excellent communication and networking skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong computer skills
Living allowance:
